Authors' recommendations: The level of evidence found is low due to the studies design, generally retrospective and heterogeneous with basal characteristics patients. There are needed more investigations to know better the balance benefit-risk with the use of genetic tests. It will be necessary to obtain the most direct evidence on clinical utility across the clinical trials TAILORx and MINDACT. In depression patients, studies are very heterogeneous and analyze different polymorphisms without uniform criteria. There would be needed studies that assess the most emphasized polymorphisms and with more influence in treatment response.
