Authors' recommendations: There is insufficient evidence in the studies and reports reviewed to support the routine use of screening with PGS to avoid the birth of newborn with aneuploidies in elderly women with recurrent miscarriages and/or failures in the FIV cycles. Economics studies are needed to assess the efficiency of this intervention beyond the analytical description of the cost of the procedure presented in this report.
