Authors' objectives: Produced annually since 2011, the Ontario Stroke Report Cards grade progress in the delivery of stroke care provincially and for each of Ontario's 14 Local Health Integration Networks (LHINs). Five categories of stroke care are examined, including public awareness and patient education, stroke prevention, acute stroke management, rehabilitation and reintegration. New to the 2014 report cards is an interpretation that highlights areas of progress and gaps in stroke care, initiatives to address the gaps, and opportunities for collaboration between the Regional Stroke Networks and the LHINs.
