Authors' objectives: This review aimed to evaluate the role of 1) screening for respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) or influenza and 2) empirical antiviral treatment during flu season for hospitalized patients with community-acquired pneumonia (CAP).
Authors' recommendations: No studies were included in this rapid review to evaluate the role of screening for RSV or influenza and the role of empirical antiviral treatment during flu season for hospitalized patients with CAP.
