Authors' objectives: Cryoablation, also known as cryosurgery or cryotherapy, is the technique of destroying cells using subfreezing temperatures. Percutaneous cryoablation of renal cancer is performed by a urologist and/or interventional radiologist to destroy tumor cells in renal masses utilizing freeze-thaw cycles.
