Evidence suggests that multicomponent interventions targeting physical activity, diet and behavior may have a potential benefit on anthropometric outcomes for both the prevention and management of childhood obesity. Given the limitations in the literature, there is a need for further high quality research in both the prevention and management of childhood obesity.
