Evidence suggests that monthly long-pulsed Nd:YAG laser therapy is effective and well-tolerated in the short- to medium-term (3 to 6 months) for the treatment of hidradenitis suppurativa. The results should be interpreted with caution due to small sample sizes and short length of follow-up.
