Authors' objectives: This report aims to give an overview of the best available evidence of endovascular repair of complex aortic aneurysms with fenestrated or branched devices (fenestrated endovascular aneurysm repair/FEVAR).
Authors' recommendations: The inclusion into the hospital benefit catalogue is recommended with restrictions.Endovascular aneurysm repair using fenestrated or branched devices is recommended for inoperable patients with an aneurysm diameter of ≥5.5 cm, for whom this intervention represents the only alternative of aneurysm exclusion. The intervention should only be carried out in specialised centres with a minimum annual volume of this intervention. Furthermore, it should be associated with acquisition of relevant data. We recommend a re-evaluation in 2016.
