Low-dose helical (spiral) computed tomography for lung cancer screening
Record ID 32013000546
English
Authors' recommendations:
Helical computed tomography (CT) is a radiographic technique that can provide high-quality, 3-dimensional images of the lungs during a single breath-hold with less radiation exposure than conventional high-resolution CT scanning. This imaging technique has been proposed for screening asymptomatic, high-risk individuals for early lung cancer lesions.
