Record ID 32013000270
Spanish
Authors' objectives:
To evaluate cost-utility of the introduction of universal infant rotavirus vaccination using RotaTeq® compared to no vaccination in Spain.
To assess effect that efficacy and price of the vaccine have on the incremental cost-utility ratio
Authors' recommendations:
Based on assumptions and parameters included in the model, the introduction of universal infant rotavirus vaccination using RotaTeq® in Spain would not be efficient. A vaccine price reduction by half could do efficient such a programme. However, increases of vaccine efficacy based on the reported data would not significantly modify the efficiency results.
