Authors' recommendations: Imageless computer-aided surgery (CAS) systems for total knee arthroplasty (TKA) are used to plan and guide surgical cuts and positioning of the knee prosthesis. The goal is to achieve precise prosthesis placement and thereby prolong prosthesis survival and improve health outcomes such as knee stability and function.
