Authors' recommendations: The placement of reverse shoulder prosthesis is an extremely aggressive surgical procedure that requires the participation of a well experienced orthopedic surgeon. Its usage increases mobility of the affected joint and clinical parameters, counting on the satisfaction of the patients who benefit from this procedure. Even so, there is an extensive variety in the number and seriousness of the complications or post-surgical complications. Further experimental research is necessary in the use of comparisons to sustain recommendations about routine use.
