To provide an overview of activities and problems concerning vaginal bleeding disorders, and thereby forward the diffusion of expert knowledge to the public.

Consensus was achieved on the following topics: What is "vaginal bleeding disorders", in which cases should women suffering from such symptoms consult a doctor, which diseases can vaginal bleeding disorders be the symptom of, which examinations and what treatment can be initiated and in which part of the health services should examination and treatment be performed, which information should the doctor offer to the patient.
