Minimally invasive coronary artery bypass graft surgeries for coronary revascularization

Record ID 32012000191
English
Authors' recommendations: Minimally invasive coronary artery bypass grafting (MI-CABG) techniques utilize less invasive cardiac surgical techniques than conventional CABG surgery in patients requiring surgical coronary revascularization for coronary artery disease (CAD). The goal of MI-CABG procedures is to achieve coronary revascularization without cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) using limited access incisions in order to limit morbidity from CPB and reduce the surgical trauma and wound complications associated with median sternotomy.
