Authors' recommendations: Study found that SonoVue® contrast-enhanced ultrasound could provide similar diagnostic performance to other imaging modalities (contrast-enhanced computed tomography and contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging) for the assessment of focal liver lesions and that it might reduce costs without reducing quality of life and survival.
