[Laparoscopic surgery in colorectal cancer : quality of life, psychological impact and patient satisfaction]

Authors' recommendations: The literature review allowed us to identify suitable and reliable tools for our setting. Open and laparoscopic surgery had similar effects on quality of life and anxiety/depression symptoms. In short term quality of life decreased, increasing after 3 to 6 months and even reaching levels higher than the starting scores.
