Authors' recommendations: Cognitive behavioural therapy and graded exercise therapy is likely to be effective for people with chronic fatigue syndrome. For other treatment strategies the quality of evidence is very low or even non-existing implying that more research is needed before we can make firm conclusions about treatment effect.
