Authors' objectives:

Rotating platform knee arthroplasty (RPKA) employs mobile-bearing tibial implants designed to improve knee rotation and range of motion, with the goal of allowing more natural knee movement and reducing wear on the implant, compared with fixed-bearing knee implants. The objective of RPKA is to alleviate pain, improve joint function, and reduce disability in patients with severe arthritis of the knee.
