Authors' recommendations: The risk for the occurrence of drug-interactions in patients of advanced age is high, as prescription of quantitatively and qualitatively improper pharmacotherapy is a common phenomenon in elderly patients. The results of the included studies describe drug-interactions between ChE-inhibitors and the following substances: inductors/inhibitors of cytochrome-p450-system, atropic drugs, drugs inducing bradycardia and antyarrythmics, drugs with anti/cholinergic potential, anaesthetics, anticoagulants, antihistaminic drugs, medications for prevention and therapy of dermal mycotic diseases.
